What are 4Member requirements?
Script requirements are as follows:
- Server OS: UNIX, Linux
- Web Server: Apache 1.3.x/ 2.0.x
- Database: MySQL 4.0.x
- Languages: PHP4
Can I install 4Member on an IIS server?
No, currently 4Member cannot work on Windows platforms.
How do I translate 4Member to my native language?
You can translate 4Member interface using your administrator control panel. Simply go to the section “Customize tpls”
and click “Language files”. From here you will see the list of files that must be translated. You can translate administrator
panel and/or member area here.
What is “system status” in 4Member administrator area?
By default, when you install 4Member, its system status is offline. This means that when members try to login to public area,
they will see a notifying message that installation is in progress or any message you set. Thus, you will be able to make all
the necessary actions (protect directories, add new members, modify other settings) and be sure that nobody logs in to your site
when it's not yet protected.
I want to create a newsletter and send it to all my members. How do I do this?
To create a newsletter, go to the section “Announcement control” ? “Create announcement”. Here you will be able to write a newsletter, select its format
and check the box “Send to all registered members”.
